Today, we are going to my aunt's house and my grandma's house for Thanksgiving. I get to have turkey two times today. My mom is making stuffing for Thanksgiving at my Aunt's house. My grandma is making everything at her house. I think we are going to play in the snow (if there is any snow!)

Academic Festival
Last Saturday, I had a thing for school. What you do is you get to choose activities with your whole class in teams or by yourself, and there are different activities to do.
The activities are: typing, spelling, math, Bible knowledge, general knowledge, creative writing, and puzzles.
Typing is when you are given a paragraph and you have to write it all in 1 minute. In spelling, you are given a word to write it down and when you are all done with all 20 words, you give it to the "director". You are given a test in math for 15 minutes. When you are done with the test, you give it to the "director" and leave the room immediately (without slamming the door!). In Bible Knowledge, you are separated into three teams, you are given a question or a fill-in-the blank. In the fill-in-the-blanks, you will get multiple choices every so often. If you get the question right, you get a point.
Same thing for general knowledge.
Creative Writing is when you write a story of anything you want to and you bring it there when
you get there and when you get it done, you get a participant ribbon and $5 to McDonalds.
When you do puzzles, you are in teams of two, but if you did not sign up for it, you are by yourself and they will let you in. You will be given a puzzle and you have 20 minutes to do the puzzle. If you get that puzzle done within the 20 minutes, you'll start on another puzzle.
If you don't finish the puzzle, then at the end, they will count how many pieces you got done, and then they will tell the judge. She/he will go over it and see who has the most, second most, and third most. All kids will not get ribbons: only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will get ribbons.
